Simple Dublin Core has 15 elements which may be used to describe a resource. One of these is specifically for the description of IPR rights attached to one or more digital objects: <dc:rights>.

<dc:rights> This field can be use to record information about the date of creation/publication, the owner of the rights, as well as information about the access conditions. Alternatively, the field may contain a URL which points to this.
