Weblog
A weblog (or blog) is an online index and, to a lesser extent, diary, where the blogger posts his or her thoughts on any topic and directs readers to relevant or interesting items held elsewhere on the Internet. A weblog differs from a personal website because it is designed to be interactive. Visitors to the site are encouraged to leave comments on posted items. Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in chronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominently. Services such as http://www.blogger.com/start enable users to create and host a weblog for free.
