Synchronization tools
Synchronization tools allow two sets of identical files to be compared in order to ascertain whether individual files have changed or if they are identical to the other set. For the digital curator dealing with a series of 'snapshot accessions' such a tool is invaluable. Unison is an example of a synchronization tool.
