Personal archive
A personal archive consists of the documents (in any form or medium) created or received, accumulated and used by an individual during the course of their daily life, which have been preserved for their continuing value. A personal archive is likely to contain many different record types and reflect all the facets of an individual's life, e.g. their career, their family or personal life, their dealings with official bodies, and their hobbies and interests.
