PDA - Personal Digital Assistant
PDAs are handheld digital organisers which combine computing, telephone/fax, and networking features. A typical PDA can function as a cellular phone, fax sender, and personal organiser. Many PDAs incorporate handwriting and/or voice recognition features. PDAs are also called palmtops, handheld computers, and pocket computers. The materials held in PDAs should be considered an important component of an individual's personal archive.
