Directory Management Application
A directory management application allows the user to view and manage drives, folders, and files. Well known examples include:
- Konqueror for the KDE/Linux
- Nautilus for Gnome/Linux
- Windows Explorer for Microsoft Windows
Such file managers are useful for digital curators because they display metadata about files and their structures.
