Academic Advisory Board
The archival content, use, and long-term research value of the project will be guided by a small academic advisory board made up of historians, political scientists and archivists working in the Universities of Oxford, Manchester and Salford. This group will be chaired by Dr Lawrence Goldman of the History Faculty, University of Oxford, a specialist in 19th and 20th century political history and the newly appointed Editor in Chief of the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography.

Meetings
The Academic Advisory Board will meet bi-annually, alternating between Oxford and Manchester. A list has been established to keep members in touch with the project between meetings.
Meeting 1
The first meeting of the Academic Advisory Board took place at St. Peter's College, Oxford, on 18 April 2005. Further information about the meeting, including a report, is available.
